The varsity girls soccer team, consisting of Mia, Hewan, Kate, Mariam, Deniz, Abby, Ketevan, Russo, Jessica, Maria, Annika, Anna, Sara, and Liza, were led by Mia and Hewan as captains. They played a total of 4 matches, each girl contributing their own set of skills to the team. Russo showed off her outstanding goalie skills, and for a player who has had little goalie experience she was truly remarkable. The team were expecting sour defeat when it came to TISA, but played a tough game, and emerged with a tied score and high hopes for the games to come. Caspian faced a competition when it came to our QSI girls, managing to score only one goal due to our stellar defense line up. Overall, the tournament was a success in the eyes of QSI Varsity Girls Soccer, who have only been playing as a team for less than two months. Third place was awarded and accepted with pride.
